Hundreds of people with businesses at Tulipati Mazima Mall in Nsambya, Kampala Division are counting losses following a fire outbreak early this month on Saturday night 23rd September, 2023.
The fire that started around 4.00 am razed more than 6 offices, leaving property worth hundreds of millions destroyed. Affected victims say by the time police arrived, there was little to be saved.
According to eyewitnesses, Police’s attempts to extinguish the fire were initially unsuccessful. It was after calling in Dray Fire Protection Services that the fire was put out. we were contacted and our team was successful in extinguishing the whole fire.
Fire incidents can be prevented by taking small steps like the installation of fire safety equipment to having fire emergency lights.
